Frequently Asked Questions

What is worship like at Covenant Life Fellowship?

We strive to be a church that will meet people just where they are, whether you have been following Jesus for many years or you are just starting to investigate Christianity.  Our hope is that you have a personal encounter with the love of God and an experience with people who really care.  The primary purpose of our assembly is to worship and honor and praise to God.We strive to create an environment that encourages and inspires people to engage with God through music and the Word. When we engage in these ways, it allows God to shape us into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We strongly encourage worshippers to search the Scriptures as the Bereans did, to the point of exhaustion.

Does Covenant Life Fellowship have Children’s Church?
Got Kids? We would love to minister to them while you are in the service.  We will have lots of fun as we learn about Jesus Christ.  You can release your child immediately following the offering.  We will reunite before the altar call.

Does Covenant Life Fellowship have Sunday School?
Yes! We offer Sunday School at 9am. Sunday School improves your Bible knowledge. When you know and understand God’s Word for yourself, you are more likely to obey the Lord. The Bible knowledge gained in Sunday School also helps you become more proficient in using God’s Word.

Where do I find information on upcoming events?
We provide an online calendar as well as post updates on our Face Book page.

What do you offer during the week?
We offer a powerful Bible Study every Wednesday at 7pm. Come join us in a lively conversation about the Bible.

What does non-denominational mean?
Covenant Life Fellowship is led by a Spirit-filled Leadership Team. We have no formal ties to denominational bodies. Our Ministry Partners come from a variety of denominations and “unchurched” backgrounds.

Who can become a member of Covenant Life Fellowship?
You can become a Ministry Partner by attending a New Beginnings Class or you or by walking up front and requesting to do so when Pastor Ken extends the invitation to Christ. Adults need to complete a New Beginnings class

How should I dress when I visit Covenant Life Fellowship?
Feel free to dress casually and comfortably. Our main focus is on the inner man, not the outer man. We take a “come as you are” approach and we really mean it!  Some Ministry Partners wear jeans and some choose to dress in a more traditional church attire.  It’s really up to you.  Know matter what you decide, there will be people who will likely be dressed the same way.  Every fourth Sunday we choose to wear our Covenant Life Fellowship t-shirts.  Some people choose to wear a different t-shirt of their own choosing and that’s perfectly fine.

What is the role of your Leadership Team?

As mentioned above, the Executive Ministry Leaders at Covenant Life Fellowship serve to shepherd and protect the vision, ministry partners, and staff of the church. The Executive Ministry Leaders are appointed by the Pastor. They form a representative body that serves to oversee the staff (who are employees of the church) and make final decisions regarding the direction of the church. They approve all budgets, staffing, and other major decisions. The Executive Ministry Leaders protect the workings of the church by providing accountability and consistency of vision.
